Science Fiction 3D Animation Monster Inc

The theme for this week's Tuesday's couch potatoes meme is Science Fiction 3D Animation. This is my second entry for this exciting meme authored by Kikams of Just about Anything. If you want to join us, just click on the badge below.
Have you seen the funny, entertaining and visually inventive movie called Monster Inc? According to Animation and Web Design Resources, this movie was the number fourth most expensive 3d Animated Movie Ever. It is a computer animated film that captured the hearts of fans and critics everywhere. It is "visually dazzling, action-packed and hilarious" movie that our children watch over and over again. John Goodman stars as the lovable James P. Sullivan (Sulley) and Billy Crystal as his wise cracking best friend, Mike Wazowski.
The top scarer Sulley and his enthusiastic scarer assistant Mike work at Monster Inc., the largest scream processing factory in mostropolis. The main power source of the monster world is the collected screams of human children. Monster believe children are dangerous and toxic, however, and they are scared silly when a little girl wanders into their world. Sulley and Mike do their best to return the girl's home, but they face monstrous intrigue and some hilarious misadventures along the way. The little girl whom they called BO looks like my daughter in this picture hehehe. Monster Inc. is a supremely clever, fun for kids and adults alike, we watches it with our two kids and we always have fun watching it. They are actually watching it right now that is why EJ is looking the other way instead of facing the camera lol.. Have a great Tuesday couch potatoes!

How the Recession Hurts Your Relationship

Is the economic recession affecting your relationship? My husband and I agreed that when it comes to financial, nothing is more important than to deal it with open mind and self discipline. We can't control the recession but we can control ourselves from spending too much. We have to prioritize which needs to be paid off first and not to bu things that we really don't need! The article below from qualityhealth.com might help you.
The current financial climate has many of us focusing on retirement plans, stock portfolios, and savings accounts. But have you considered how the recession has affected your relationship?

Thank you very much for your prayers!

Hello friends, I apologized if I wasn't able to peek at your blogs for a couple of days. We just had a little bit chaotic over here with my husband's medical condition. He will be having a follow up check up tomorrow and hopefully they will be able to tell us what went wrong and what caused my husband's inability to breath yesterday. He was literally in tears yesterday when he told me that he was having a heart attack. Thanks be to God, it wasn't really a HA. He posted an update about it at his blog. Because of what I have experienced with my late father and brother, this kind of situation is making me so paranoid. A lot of worse case scenario was going through my head. I thanked God for protecting my husband. From the bottom of my heart guys, THANK YOU so much for your prayers!

Little by Little... on paying off our debts

Some of you might have read the post I made on my other blog about blogging..debts...life.... where I I talked about our goal of paying off our debts before my husband retires. I am so happy that I have learned how to blog and write paid reviews on products and services because it does help us a little bit on our finances especially on settling our debts. It also help us when my brother died, the pocket money we used for our trip was from blogging. How about you, what did you do with your blogging earning?
Well, maybe you'll be encouraged to join us in writing reviews if I tell you that we have paid off another credit card yesterday. This time around, it wasn't my blogging earning but my husband's blog earning. I am so glad that we paid this off ($2,200.00) because its annual percentage rate is 9.9% variable. By paying it off, we can save $19 every month now. One down and two more to go (So you see, we are very rich.... in DEBTS! lol). The last two credit cards has a low APR with 3.99%, we can manage to pay it off little by little. For the advertisers out there, thanks a lot for giving SAHMs the chance to earn some income while at home. If you want my services on writing review, just please contact me okay. I need more tasks to subsidize my younger sister's college needs. And once again, I invite all of you to earn a little bit of cash while you enjoy what you are already doing in bloging. Here are the list of sites that you can join.

"Heart Attack"

After we ate breakfast today, my husband decided to check out our mail at the post office with our kids while I was busy filing our papers. When they came back, he decided to wash the car and drove the kids to the car wash inside the base. After that, when he came home he said "Please get the kids at the car hon, I think I am having a heart attack!" He was walking like he was gonna fall. I froze, "should I get the kids or assist my husband?" But it was so hot outside so I ran out to the car and get our kids. When we came back inside the house, he was talking to the doctor and he did not look too good. He went to the hospital inside the base to meet the doctor. I am scared to death in here waiting for him. I called after 30 minutes or so, no answer, I called again after an hour, still no answer. So I decided to go in the hospital and check on him but he wasn't there. Can you imagine how terrified I am? My knees are shaking and my heart is thumping so hard. When I came back home, the doctor left me a message, so I called back. He said that my husband is in Samsung Hospital (out of town hospital). He said that my husband is still in a lot of pain but a little bit better. He will be having a CT scan and find out what is happening to him. I am asking your sincere prayer, please help me pray for my husband... I won't be able to take this if something happen to him. Lord, I know that You are there always when we need You! Please don't let anything bad happen to my husband. Not him please?! I trust in you Lord!

Birthday Celebrants

When I started blogging, for a couple of days I was bummed out that nobody visited my blog and read it. And then Malou told me to visit other blogs that were under her blogroll, so that's what I did. For every blog that I visit, I made sure that read and post a comment to the topics that I like. I love receiving comments so I started visiting those that I always saw commenting and one of the famous on the list is my Manang Dhemz. My first comment I made on her blog is about her paid post of a food contest because her post was chosen the best by the advertiser among others. I also congratulated her about her newly acquired Page Rank from Google (do you remember it manang?) From then on, our friendship have bloomed and now becomes like a sisterhood. I knew from the very beginning that Dhemz is a very humble and down-to-earth person. She has compassion towards other people and have a huge heart. I am so touched when she told me that I am like her sister that she n4ever had. Thank you so much for being my younger sissy Manang. Please help me great the "Ms. Congeniality" in the blogland on her very special day. Happy birthday Manang ko!
When I landed on Pchi's blog, I admired her so much on how she depicts the reality of politics in the Philippines. At her young mind, she is very profound in expressing her opinions. Since then, I became a regular reader of her blog and commenter as well. She used to just focus on writing about politics but I am glad that she incorporated it with personal stuff which made me know her a little bit more. Pchi is also celebrating her birthday on the 26th of this month so Happy birthday!

Another celebrant for this month (28th) is my friend Karen. Me, her and Jane call each other buds. When it comes to craziness, seriousness, and all the words with ness, we are the team - the partners in crime lol. I am slo her daughter's godmommy during her baptism. We left karen in Divine Word, I migrated and Jane transferred to a university school. We miss you so much Buds Ka! Next celebrant to the list is my friend Haide. She was my classmate in College and my usual companion after that. She also took some units for her masters with me. When Haide first met me, she said that she did not like me because I look so suplada lol. But later on she found out that "mabait daw" pala ako nyahahaha.
And the last two especial people who also celebrate their birthdays this month are my sisters Becka and Lyn. I love and miss you guys! May God bless you and always take care of you and your family. Good luck on your pregnancy Lyn! Happy birthday glitters

The joy of Being Kids

My husband worked very late last Friday in connection with the exercise/training that is going on in the base. He also work Saturday morning and was on call in the afternoon. Our children used to Dad being at home at five o'clock because we either go for a walk or play outside. But since he was late last Friday, I took our kids to their favorite place to play.
the loving sissy, pushing little bro in the stroller. They love climbing in this small hill. and slide down, its messy but its fun! and climbed again lol.. EJ love chasing the dragon flies. EJ love picking rocks and throw it outside this circle. Resting a little bit after that too much running.
Make a wish! She call the old dandelion flower a wishing flower. They love blowing it. We should let our kids be kids because the life span of their childhood is getting shorter and shorter as the technology progresses. Have a great Monday everyone!

Want a piece of dessert?

This is a little bit late but I am posting it anyway. My entry for this week's Food Trip Friday is Cake. What is it in a cake that it always has to be present on special occasion? Be it weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, baptism, etc. My husband bought this cake for our wedding anniversary. I love Korean cakes because they always put fresh fruit in it.
This was the birthday cake they gave me on my birthday this year. This had a strawberry fruit fillings. Birthday cakes in the Philippines are very artistic. We had this one for EJ & John's Birthday. This one was for our Princess Rylie. The kids in my place loved it! Alright folks, gotta do some laundry today. I'll see you in a little while. Thanks for the visit.

Fun in the Gym..

We had so much fun last Friday at the Gym. My husband, the kids, and I shoot basketballs, watched the taekwondo class, and do some aerobics with the hula hoops. It is so much fun when the whole family play sports together.

Gotta Wear that Shades

It's TGIF, the most exciting day of the week for me. I really like this meme. Thanks to Chris of Mommy Journey for creating this fun and family oriented meme. This week's theme is "Gotta wear that sunglasses."The first sets of photos were taken when Rylie was 2 years old and EJ was 5 months old at my brother-in-law's house. We used to go there during summer days because they have a swimming pool at their house.
\ Rylie's very first sunglasses given by Tita Chris. Three months Rylie trying on Tita Chris's sunglasses.. Taken when EJ was one month old. This was taken when Rylie was 7 months old.
I took this photo when my son threw a fit because he wanted to wear my sunglasses hehehe..
These were taken last April during the Easter celebration. Thanks for leaving your trails.
